Day 4- Sibling Day

My parents had 3 children together, two boys and me. Well being the only girl growing up and the youngest, wasn’t that fun. I felt so alone because they were so much older than me and they were boys, I wasn’t allowed to play with them because they were “to rough”. As we are getting older I think all 3 of us can agree we are getting closer and we are realizing that this is our family, each other so we need to be there for each other.

My Brother Conrad is 11 years older than me, growing up he wasn’t around much because he lived with my grandparents, then went off to college. He had his first son Tyler when I was in middle school. That is when I think we started to get to know each other. I would go to his house and babysit. He married his wife Jamie, who I couldn’t imagine a better person, she is a loving and giving person who has always been there for me in my life. They also have a son named Trevor, a daughter named Natalie, and they have a one year old son named Tanner! I love my nieces and nephews so much! My brother has a lot of life experience and I look up to him and in many ways he has been there when my parents weren’t he is the one who encouraged me to go to college and when I found out I was pregnant he encouraged me to finish my degree. My brother has a big heart and I am so lucky to have him and his family in my life! I try to get back to visit them no matter where we are stationed at least once a year.

My Brother Paul is 4 years older than me, so growing up he was always to cool to hang out with his little sister. In high school he was a big football player and track runner. My brother decided the military and college weren’t for him. He has lived in a couple states, and has had a couple of good jobs. I would say my brother and I haven’t really been close until a few years ago. He has the personality which HE is always right and you cant tell him otherwise! I think I am the only one that really gets him, haha. I love my brother but sometimes I wish he wasn’t so thick headed. He has not settled down yet….maybe someday!
